Interview System
How AccredLeap's AI-guided interview system collects institutional data for accreditation documents.
How the Interview System Works
AccredLeap's interview system is designed to extract the institutional knowledge needed for accreditation document preparation. Rather than staring at a blank page, the AI interviewer guides you through structured question flows mapped to specific accreditation standards.
Starting an Interview
- Navigate to Interviews from the sidebar
- Click New Interview
- Select the accreditation standard and section you're preparing for
- The AI interviewer will begin with contextual questions
Interview Flow
Each interview consists of multiple sections, each targeting specific accreditation requirements:
- Context Questions — Establish institutional background relevant to the section
- Evidence Gathering — Identify supporting data, policies, and documentation
- Narrative Prompts — Capture qualitative descriptions of processes and outcomes
- Follow-up Questions — AI-generated clarifications based on your prior responses
Answering Questions
- Answer in natural language — the AI handles formatting and structure
- You can skip questions and return to them later
- Upload supporting documents directly within the interview
- Each response is saved automatically as you type
Source Materials
You can upload source materials (PDFs, documents, URLs) that AccredLeap will analyze to pre-populate interview responses. This saves time when institutional data already exists in other formats.
Supported Sources
- PDF documents (catalogs, policy manuals, reports)
- Web URLs (institutional web pages, published data)
- Text documents
Using Interview Data
Once an interview is complete (or partially complete), the responses feed directly into the document generation system. The AI uses your interview data as the primary input for generating accreditation narratives.
